As a Software Developer Co-op, you will design, develop, and test software features across web applications, cloud microservices, and distributed platforms. Collaborate with agile engineering teams to build responsive user interfaces, robust RESTful APIs, and scalable backend services that power next-generation software platforms and digital solutions. Work with modern developer workflows, including Git version control, Linux environments, containerization tools, and automated testing to ensure reliable software delivery.

Success in this co-op work term means learning practical software engineering best practices, writing clean and maintainable code, and contributing to innovative solutions that connect and protect people and organizations worldwide.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (Associate's or Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, with the expectation to continue enrollment following completion of the co-op work term.
• Foundational programming and problem-solving skills in at least one modern language such as Type Script/JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, or C/C++ through recent academic coursework, personal projects, or previous work experience.
• Experience writing, testing, and debugging software code, with a solid understanding of core data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Familiarity with web and API fundamentals (HTTP/HTTPS, RESTful APIs, state management) and standard development workflows, including Linux environments and Git version control.

• Hands‑on experience or coursework building responsive user interfaces with component-based architectures (React, Vue, or Angular) and modern Type Script.
• Familiarity with backend microservices development or API tooling in Go (Golang), Python (FastAPI/Flask), or Node.js.
• Introductory exposure to containerization (Docker), cloud concepts (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or Azure), or CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI).
• Familiarity with database concepts across relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL), No
