As a Junior Software Developer, you will help create systems that collect, process, and deliver web content. You will work with product owners and developers on distributed systems, search indexing, and AI-driven product capabilities. The work includes backend engineering and content acquisition using Java, Type Script, Nest.js, and Solr.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop code through an Agile development process
- Build features and enhance existing products
- Maintain scrapers and integrations using Type Script and Nest.js
- Design RESTful services primarily in Java
- Develop Kafka services for content processing
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Hands-on Java development and REST API experience
- Familiarity with content pipeline concepts
- Understanding of web scraping and crawling standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
