Build Type Script integrations and Java pipelines remotely for Agility PR Solutions, powering online news content across monitoring and analytics systems.
As a Software Developer, you will design, build, and scale production-grade pipelines for content acquisition, processing, enrichment, and delivery. You will contribute to architecture, data strategy, and event-driven services using Kafka, while supporting AI-driven media intelligence features. The work spans web crawling, source integrations, parsing, RESTful services, and Solr indexing.
Key Responsibilities:- Build scalable web scrapers and crawlers following standards
- Develop Type Script content integration and parsing logic
- Design Kafka services for processing, enrichment, and routing
- Integrate providers, RSS/Atom feeds, and external APIs
- Implement Java RESTful services for content delivery
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
- Three or more years of software development experience
- Backend services experience with Java or similar
- Production web scraping and crawling experience
- Experience with Kafka, HTML parsing, SQL, and Git
