Shape cloud banking architecture in Toronto with Capital One, applying advanced development, technical design, and machine learning expertise. Guide solutions serving international Card customers.
As a director-equivalent Distinguished Engineer without direct reports, you will define the future of banking in the cloud. You will partner with developers, machine learning experts, product managers, and people leaders. Your work will advance customer-centric decision-making capabilities for international Card users.
Key Responsibilities:- Articulate and evangelize a bold technical vision
- Decompose complex problems into operational solutions
- Ensure technical design and implementation quality
- Advise on performance, scalability, and operability
- Mentor technical talent across engineering and product communities
- At least 10 years software engineering or development experience
- At least 7 years public cloud experience
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
- 12+ years coding in commonly used programming languages
- 8+ years full lifecycle system development experience
