Build automated testing experience at Tech Insights in Ottawa, using Python, Java, or scripting languages in a completely on-site role.
As a QA Co-op Student, you will support Tech Insights Platform software quality through test automation and analysis. The opportunity suits a third or fourth year Computer Science or related-discipline student. You will collaborate with software development teams, contribute to functional, regression, and performance testing, and gain hands-on experience with quality assurance and software development.
Key Responsibilities:- Design comprehensive test cases from project requirements
- Develop automated scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze results, investigate defects, and report issues
- Develop dashboards and automated QA reporting tools
- Third or fourth year Computer Science student
- Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or scripting languages
- Experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Git, software development life cycles, and Agile methodologies
- Problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and collaboration skills
