Aerobics Instructor (Aquafitness)-EN at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services
OverviewAt Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we are a proud community dedicated to supporting Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans and their families in their daily lives. We carefully curate and provide programs and services designed to meet their unique needs and enhance their mental, social, physical, financial and familial well‐being. CFMWS employees deliver recreation, sports and fitness programs, customized financial services, retail services, access to savings and discounts, family support and organize charity events.
The RoleUnder the supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator, the Aerobics Instructor plans, organizes and delivers aerobics (aqua fitness) classes. They demonstrate and instruct aerobics (aqua fitness) activities and techniques.
Qualifications Needed- High school diploma and some years of experience conducting aqua fitness classes
- Fitness Leaders Certification – Aqua fitness module
- Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
- In planning, organizing, and delivering aqua fitness classes
- In monitoring and controlling large groups of participants
- In ensuring safety protocols and procedures
