Searidge Technologies is a global Air Traffic Control technology leader, deploying innovative solutions to improve airport safety and efficiency worldwide. Reporting to the Head of the PMO, the Procurement and Logistics Specialist is a hands‑on operational role supporting Engineering, and Project Delivery. The Procurement & Logistics Specialist will manage day‑to‑day procurement and supplier coordination (RFQs/quotes, PO tracking), as well as domestic and international logistics (shipping/receiving, customs documentation, Incoterms).

The role also supports COTS lifecycle/obsolescence monitoring (EoS/EoL), coordinates evaluation/test units, maintains accurate hardware/inventory and asset traceability records across the equipment lifecycle, manages supplier RMAs, and contributes to continuous improvement within established procurement and logistics frameworks.

Responsibilities
  • Execute end‑to‑end procurement for hardware, equipment, and services supporting Engineering/Projects/Operations, including RFQs/quotes, option evaluation, supplier selection support (within approval limits), and PO submission/coordination through Finance.
  • Develop and manage the supplier base by identifying, researching, and qualifying suppliers across regions to support sourcing strategy, continuity of supply, and risk mitigation; maintain relationships and support supplier performance tracking/reporting.
  • Own supplier coordination from requirement to receipt: align technical/commercial needs, confirm lead times and delivery terms, track order status, and ensure accurate on‑time delivery and documentation.
  • Support technical risk reduction and lifecycle management by coordinating evaluation/test units and serving as the operational point‑of‑contact for COTS lifecycle/obsolescence (availability, EoS/EoL/EoSL), including identifying alternates and coordinating impact assessments with Engineering/Support, in compliance with company policy and applicable regulations.
Logistics, Shipping & Inventory Management
  • Coordinate domestic and international logistics for project and support activities, including shipping/receiving, freight forwarders/couriers/customs brokers, delivery scheduling, and end‑to‑end shipment tracking.
  • Manage trade and shipping documentation (import/export/customs) to ensure compliance and correct application of Incoterms with Sales, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Execute warehouse and shipping operations packing/labeling/staging/palletized freight preparation, safe and organized storage, goods receipt/verification against POs, discrepancy resolution, and inventory reconciliation to project allocations.
  • Maintain inventory and asset control (records and serial/part traceability where required), support spares planning, and coordinate cargo insurance/claims (loss/damage/delay) when applicable.
RMA & Supplier Support
  • Act as the operational logistics interface between internal Support teams and supplier support organizations, coordinating RMA/warranty activities in line with supplier agreements and internal traceability requirements.
  • Manage RMAs end‑to‑end, including authorization, shipment preparation, tracking, delivery confirmation, closure, and accurate supporting documentation.
Operational & Project Support
  • Provide operational support to Engineering and project teams across sourcing/materials coordination, lifecycle/availability inputs, and logistics planning/execution for installations and customer deliveries (schedule alignment, shipment readiness, documentation completeness).
  • Provide timely status updates and proactively identify/escalate supplier and logistics issues, delivery risks, and schedule impacts with clear mitigation actions.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement of procurement/logistics workflows, documentation, and tracking; create and maintain SOPs to improve predictability and reduce cycle time/errors.
