JOB SUMMARY
The Transportation Services department is responsible for providing a holistic transportation hub focused on addressing the planning, implementation, operations and delivery of all modes of transportation in the City of Ottawa.
Under the direction of a Program Manager or Team Lead, you assist transit planning staff in making decisions about bus routes, bus stops and bus stop shelters or other transit planning work in rail operations, and perform general administrative support tasks relating to transit planning functions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Post-secondary Student - completion of second year college or university in Geography, GIS, urban planning, engineering, operations research, economics, or similar field
Minimum of 4 months but less than 8 months of related experience is required, office or engineering experience, with computer data entry/use experience.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES
Valid Ontario unrestricted G class driver’s licence (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points accumulatedKNOWLEDGE
