Part Time - School Bus Driver - West

Overview

Voyago is recruiting School Bus Drivers for Ottawa locations (Stittsville, Dunrobin, Kanata, Barrhaven, Nepean and west end of Ottawa). This is a split shift (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon). Being close to the school coverage area is essential.

• Safely transport "the most precious cargo" to and from school.
• Ensure students’ safety while boarding and exiting buses.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.
• Help fuel and maintain the cleanliness of the bus.

• Safety focused.
• Hold a valid minimum full Ontario G class driver’s license (Preference given to B class).
• 21 years of age or over.
• Clean driving record and criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening.
• Sound knowledge of the Ottawa West region and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work independently.
• Availability for the required split shifts of 4-5 hours total (Monday–Friday between 6:30–9:30 am and 1:30–5 pm).
• Solid communication skills. Will undergo a pre‑hire driving skills and radio communication assessment.

• Competitive hourly rate: $23.00 per hour.
• $2,000 retention bonus for qualifying drivers.
• Compensated for a 4‑hour minimum daily split if you take both morning and afternoon for a full route.
