Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Inflight Services, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the safety and well‑being of Porter passengers while upholding the Flying Refined brand promise. The fleet type (Dash8 or E195‑E2) will be determined by the company according to operational needs.
Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure the safety of all passengers
- Provide effortless, friendly, and attentive service to ensure passenger comfort
- Adhere to the standard operating procedures from your training, in accordance with Transport Canada and Porter policies
- Perform the physical tasks of a flight attendant, such as lifting loads up to 50lb, standing for long periods, and assisting passengers in emergencies
- Handle unexpected operational and passenger situations with tact
- Actively monitor the overall condition of the aircraft cabin and make necessary adjustments to maintain passenger safety or enhance their experience

- Actively participate in Porter's safety management system, including reporting hazards and incidents encountered during daily operations; understand, comply with, and promote the company's safety policy

- Hold a valid Canadian passport or a valid international passport and a current U.S. crew member visa (C-1/D).
- Be at least 19 years old at the time of employment.
- High school diploma.
- Mandatory fluency in French and English.
- At least two years of public-facing customer service experience.
- Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and pass the company's background check process.
- Ability to meet required medical standards (including alcohol and drug screening) and all physical job requirements.
- Successful completion of a full‑time five‑ to six‑week training program with 100% attendance and passing all written and practical assessments.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a safety mindset and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to work a rotating reserve schedule including weekends, holidays, evenings, and nights; schedules and days off are assigned by seniority via an online bid system.
- Must be able to report to the assigned base airport within two hours of notice for flight duties.
