Driver Linehaul LHD Details

Overview

The Linehaul Driver drives to/from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt, trucks) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) to pick up and deliver freight to/from customer locations and meet service level agreements. Job requires working in shifts.

Pay rate: $30.25

Shift: Sunday 10:00-18:00 (8 hours per week)

• Drive to/from customer locations
• Safely operate company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt trucks) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts)
• Pick up and deliver freight to/from warehouse or package depot and/or customer locations and meet service level agreements
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch
• Pick up, deliver, and load/unload freight at customer locations
• Scan freight upon pickup and delivery
• Conduct vehicle inspections (tractor - 20-minute pre-trip, 15-minute post-trip; trailer - 15-minute pre-trip per trailer)

• Class 1 driver s license with a clean driving record
• 3 years of Class 1 driving experience
