Compensation
Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour. Hourly rate will equal or exceed the local minimum wage. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premium pay based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if relevant criteria are met.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
- Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and conduct daily inspections before operating.
- Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and collected monies at all times.
- Pick up customer returns (e.g., new, warranty, cores) and complete driver return slip.
- Communicate customer problems or special needs to store management.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately.
- Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders.
- Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Required: Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Required: Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Required: Driving record meeting the company's 14/18‑point record system.
- Required: A legally required state driver's license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements.
- Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts.
- Desired: Ability to operate other light store equipment.
- Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
