Position: ATR 42 First Officer (Non‐Type Rated) – Permanent, Training Provided

Minimum qualifications

  • Total Time: 750 hours total time (or 250 hours total time for graduates of a recognized aviation degree/diploma program, or similar)
  • License/Exams:
    Completion of either the IATRA or both ATPL exams (SAMRA and SARON). Exams must be valid.
  • Accepted License Authority: TCCA
  • Medical:
    Class 1
  • Language: ICAO English Language Proficiency level 4 or higher
Additional requirements
  • Security Clearance:
    Ability to obtain and retain an Airport RAIC under Transport Canada’s Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program
  • Travel Documents:
    Current valid passport; if you are not a holder of a Canadian passport, a valid Canadian Permanent Resident Card
  • Visas:
    All required visas or travel documents allowing unrestricted travel

What you’ll do
  • Operate the ATR 42 as First Officer in a two‑crew environment, upholding SOPs and company standards
  • Execute all phases of flight safely and efficiently, including flight planning, briefings, and checklist discipline
  • Monitor aircraft systems and performance, supporting the Captain in decision‑making and threat/error management
  • Deliver professional, courteous service while maintaining regulatory and company compliance
  • Contribute to a positive safety culture through proactive reporting and continuous improvement
