Certified Forklift Operator​/Sorter

Our client, a leading logistics and freight management organization, is seeking a Certified Forklift Operator/ Sorter to join their team. As a Certified Forklift Operator/ Sorter, you will be an essential part of the Freight division supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Certified Forklift Operator/ Sorter

Location: Ottawa, ON

Pay Range: $18.90 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 4 PM to 6 PM (2 hours each day)

What's the Job?

• Load and stack skids efficiently and safely within the warehouse
• Complete manual cubing of skids using tape measures to ensure accurate measurements
• Operate forklifts safely and responsibly to move goods as required
• Assist with sorting and organizing freight to optimize warehouse space
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations

What's Needed?

• Valid certification as a forklift operator
• Experience in warehouse or freight operations preferred
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to safety protocols and PPE requirements (steel toe boots and high visibility vest)
• Reliable and punctual with a team-oriented mindset
