Under the supervision of the site director, the AZ Truck driver will transport material to and from our various sites and client sites.
What you're responsible for- Operating an AZ class roll‑off truck to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment, securing the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Performing manual tarping if necessary
- Performing routine pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
- Completing accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation
- You have a valid AZ driver’s license with a clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract
- Experience driving an 18‑speed manual transmission is required
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an AZ driver
- Previous experience operating a roll‑off truck is preferred
- You are customer service‑oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- You have great communication skills in both French and English
- You have good physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required
- You have some familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials (an asset)
