The Truck Loader is responsible for collecting curbside materials from residential and commercial locations and disposing of them according to company policies. This role involves performing repetitive tasks, including heavy lifting, maintaining daily records of pick‑ups, and working in all weather conditions. The Truck Loader ensures safe work practices are consistently followed while supporting efficient and timely collection operations.
Position Description- Collect curbside materials from residential buildings and other facilities.
- Pick up refuse in other areas as required.
- Maintain daily records of pick‑ups.
- Perform repetitive tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Perform duties in all-weather conditions (hot, cold, rain or snow).
- Dispose of curbside collections according to set policies and procedures.
- Observe safe work practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and clean attendance record.
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Client service and public interaction skills at written and verbal levels.
- Ability to read and write to record pick‑ups and maintain daily records.
- Able to successfully pass a background check consisting of an MTO medical/drug test, criminal history search, license verification, and employment confirmation.
