Position: Dash 8-300 Captain for Firefighting
Lead aerial firefighting missions as a Dash 8-300 Captain. Command operations with uncompromising safety while managing a skilled crew in a dynamic international environment.

In this direct-entry Captain role, you will command the Dash 8-300 fleet for firefighting across international bases. Your responsibilities include planning missions considering performance metrics, weather conditions, and compliance standards. You will lead a multi-crew operation, ensuring clear communication and effective decision-making as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Command aerial firefighting operations safely and effectively

• Lead mission briefings and set operational standards

• Execute mission planning including fuel and weather checks

• Coordinate with air attack agencies and maintenance teams

• Manage emergency procedures following regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• 1500 total flight hours required

• 500 hours PIC time minimum

• 250 hours in type on Dash 8-300

• CPL with IR and ME license needed

• Class 1 medical certification required
