DZ Driver Food Distribution

Position: Flexible DZ Driver for Food Distribution
Location: Smiths Falls

Become a part of our dedicated food distribution team as a part time casual Delivery Driver (DZ). This role is on-call, offering flexibility while ensuring timely and safe deliveries to customers.

As a delivery driver, you will handle varying hours and shifts that may include early mornings and weekends based on operational needs. Your responsibilities will include securely transporting goods, effective communication regarding deliveries, and maintaining records for compliance. A strong background in commercial driving and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport products to designated customer locations

• Unload and manage products as per delivery requirements

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness

• Follow delivery schedules and ensure routing efficiency

• Communicate with clients about delivery updates

Requirements:

• Valid DZ Driver’s License and clean driving record

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience

• High School Diploma or relevant experience

• Required Air Brake Endorsement

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
