Drive operational excellence as the OCC Duty Manager with Canadian North and facilitate crucial flight planning. Support essential services across northern communities and enhance customer satisfaction every day.
The OCC Duty Manager role is pivotal in managing the daily flight schedule at Canadian North. You will ensure that customer commitments are fulfilled while handling decision-making, contingency planning, and troubleshooting operational irregularities. This position reports to the Chief Duty Manager and requires proven leadership in a dynamic aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute daily flight schedules efficiently
• Manage operational irregularities and develop recovery plans
• Initiate and coordinate emergency response procedures
• Oversee the cancellation or rerouting of scheduled flights
• Track performance metrics to ensure on-time delivery
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent work experience
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
• Bilingualism and knowledge of Inuktut are assets
