Accelerate your career as an Aircraft Component Shop Technician at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport. Engage in the repair and maintenance of aircraft components, prioritizing safety and collaboration.
In this role, you will report to the Shop Supervisor and handle various maintenance tasks, ensuring aircraft parts function efficiently. With a focus on obtaining Shop Certification Authority, you'll maintain documentation and participate in a safe workshop environment.
Your role also includes supporting and training new employees in critical repair protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain aircraft batteries, engines, and components
• Certify repair orders comprehensively
• Observe and enforce safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop environment
• Participate in ongoing training sessions
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary education necessary
• College diploma from a recognized program required
• Valid Ontario driver’s license essential
• Mechanical aptitude and experience preferred
• Ability to lift 23kg regularly
