Food Transport Driver at CCI

Become a vital part of CCI Ottawa's mission by transporting food safely and efficiently. As a full-time driver, you will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety standards.

At CCI Ottawa, we are dedicated to supporting immigrants and refugees through various programs. You will report directly to the Transitional Housing Manager and play a crucial role in maintaining food quality during transit. Experience as a delivery driver and a valid G license are essential to this position, which requires flexibility with work hours including mornings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport food between Transitional Housing locations

• Load and unload food items with care

• Maintain temperature controls during transit

• Follow designated routes for timely deliveries

• Communicate route updates with the manager

Requirements:

• Valid G license with driver's abstract

• Experience in food delivery or hospitality

• Knowledge of local routes for navigation

• Ability to work independently without supervision

• Must lift and move heavy items
