LKQ Canada is looking for a Delivery Driver to join its team. The delivery driver must have one (1) year driving and warehouse experience with an excellent driving record.

Compensation and Schedule

Starting salary between 22.00$ and 24.00$ per hour, based on the experience.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am till 4:00pm.

Permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Operate the company vehicle (up to an 18-foot cube truck with a tail lift) to deliver products to customers.
  • Manual load and unload the delivery truck, verify that all parts are loaded and unloaded.
  • Collect payments from customers, obtain signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy of parts received.
  • Deliver returned items back to the branch.
  • Complete all required safety checks and maintenance validations for the company vehicle.
  • All company vehicles are equipped with telematics cameras.
  • Operate the company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner.
  • Physically load the company truck at the branch and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made.
  • At delivery destination, confirm order with customer, unload and verify product, obtain confirmation signature and payment from customer.
  • Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers to the branch.
  • Collect accounts receivable, as necessary.
  • Work in such a manner as to prevent shortages and damage to products.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

Job Description
  • Minimum one (1) year driving and warehouse operations experience.
  • Possess a valid G driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Knowledge of replacement parts for the collision repair industry desired.
  • Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with the Company's warehouse and delivery methods, techniques, and procedures.
  • Possess the ability to perform basic math calculations and effectively communicate on an interpersonal verbal basis.
  • Proficiently use smartphone and/or tablet.
  • Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
Job Requirements
  • Knowledge of replacement parts for the collision repair industry.
  • Proficiency with smartphone and/or tablet to navigate mobile applications.
  • Possess the ability to perform basic math calculations and effectively communicate on an interpersonal verbal basis.
Essential Physical Demands / Work Environment

This position requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing and ascending/descending stairs. Requires sitting for relatively long periods of time, while driving. This also requires frequent bending, climbing, movement and lifting of up to 75 pounds during physical loading/unloading of trucks and when stocking products.
