Position: School Bus Driver - Flexible Casual
Join as a Flexible Casual School Bus Driver tasked with safely transporting students. This role requires adaptability, with work hours scheduled as needed based on departmental needs.

In this position, you will operate school buses of various sizes, performing necessary inspections to ensure safety. You will manage students' behavior, conduct safety drills, and keep the bus clean and sanitized. Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, the role emphasizes safety and dependability while allowing flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive students during scheduled and non-scheduled trips

• Ensure bus roadworthiness through regular inspections

• Address safety concerns or mechanical issues immediately

• Conduct safety drills and maintain discipline on the bus

• Assist with student registration and prepare necessary lists

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education or equivalent

• Class 2 Driver's Licence with Air Brakes endorsement

• Clean Driver's Abstract essential

• 2 years relevant driving experience preferred

• WHMIS certification required during probation

Deliver safe and efficient transportation for students through knowledgeable bus operation and care.
