Traffic Control Specialist

Become a Traffic Control Specialist at ATS Traffic in Ottawa. This full-time role involves essential traffic management for city events and construction.

As part of a respected family-owned business, you will be tasked with safely managing traffic flows and setups, using barricades, pylons, and signage for public safety. This position requires a valid Class G Driver’s License, and preference will be given to candidates with TCP tickets or relevant experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Install and dismantle traffic control systems

• Ensure proper setup of work zones for safety

• Safely operate equipment on high-speed roads

• Provide equipment maintenance support

• Perform traffic flagging duties as required

Requirements:

• Class G Driver’s License with clean abstract

• Approximately 1 year of traffic experience preferred

• Personal vehicle for work commute required

• Familiarity with construction tools is beneficial

• Traffic Control Person certification preferred
