Salvation Army Delivery Truck Driver

In this full-time position, you will operate a variety of vehicles, perform regular inspections, and ensure the delivery of food, toys, and supplies to those in need. You will uphold the Salvation Army's values while engaging with donors and volunteers, facilitating an efficient and cooperative environment.

Your role will also involve maintaining a clean driver’s abstract and addressing any infractions promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial trucks and cube vans safely

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain logs

• Load and unload deliveries as per regulations

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders in the field

• Support training for new drivers and volunteers

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 year of driving experience

• Valid full driver’s license and clean driver’s record

• Forklift operation knowledge preferred

• Excellent time management and communication skills
