Join Alamos Gold as a Truck Driver and contribute to mining operations in the Island Gold District, Dubreuilville. Ensure safe transportation of materials while maintaining a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
In this underground Truck Driver position with Alamos Gold, you will work in a dynamic environment, engaging directly with the mining operations in northern Ontario. Candidates are required to possess a Grade 12 education and hold basic underground training from NORCAT. Your key tasks will include organizing material deliveries, maintaining clean vehicles, and ensuring effective communication with your dispatch team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport ore and waste materials safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck box daily
• Accurately report material loads to supervision
• Back haul for roadbed maintenance safely
• Communicate effectively via radio during operations
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 education
• Basic common core modules from NORCAT needed
• Strong organizational skills for deliveries
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Follow 7 days on / 7 days off work schedule
