Drive a commitment to sustainability as a DZ Driver for Cascades in Ottawa. Collect and manage recycled material while ensuring vehicle reliability and customer service.
This full-time role involves operating various vehicles, such as Rear Packers and straight trucks, mainly in Ottawa. You will ensure all safety checks are performed and provide effective communication to our valued clients. Candidates should embody strong time management skills and an eagerness to be part of an inclusive team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect recycled materials using designated vehicles
• Perform detailed vehicle inspections before driving
• Clean sites post-collection of materials
• Fill out all necessary documentation promptly
• Ensure safe and proper truck operations at all times
Requirements:
• Valid DZ Driver's License with air brakes required
• Relevant industry experience highly valued
• Strong knowledge of Ottawa's routes
• Excellent customer service skills
• Capable of working outdoors in various conditions
