Your role is crucial for processing orders efficiently while prioritizing safety.
As a Shunt Driver, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and managing trailer operations within the yard. This position emphasizes compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a tidy work environment. Regular communication with team leaders will be key to effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely processing of customer orders
• Open/close trailer doors and attach seals
• Keep accurate daily yard check records
• Operate reefers and heated trailers safely
• Propose safety improvements and maintain standards
Requirements:
• AZ / Class 1 Driver’s License mandatory
• Age requirement: 23 or older
• Experience with trailer combinations preferred
• Knowledge of standard operating procedures
• Commitment to health and safety practices
