About the position

Duties
👉 Maintain continuous qualification for the role by completing all mandatory training required by the Canada School of Public Service and Transport Canada.
👉 Perform planned and reactive surveillance inspections in accordance with the procedures established in Transport Canada documentation.
👉 Perform flight simulation and air operator certification tasks (e.g., review and approve company manuals, assess the Minister’s external delegates such as Approved Check Pilots) in accordance with the procedures established in Transport Canada documentation.
👉 Submit all required reports in a timely manner.
👉 Participate in meetings with internal and/or external stakeholders in a professional, respectful manner.
👉 Comply with the Government of Canada’s Public Service employee code of Values & Ethics available at .
👉 Participate in working groups established for the continual improvement of Transport Canada regulations, policies and practices.

The purpose of this continuous recruitment inventory is to create and maintain a pool of applications for future staffing needs within Transport Canada’s National Operations Directorate. As positions become available, candidates may be selected from the inventory, and those who meet the required qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.

When a selection process is conducted, a pool of qualified and/or partially qualified candidates may be established within Transport Canada and may be used to staff similar positions with varying employment durations, language requirements, and security clearance levels.
