Take on the full-time Tow Truck Driver role with SMC Group of Companies in Ottawa. This position prioritizes excellent driving skills and exceptional customer service while towing.
SMC Group of Companies Inc. is hiring Tow Truck Drivers for their Ottawa location. This full-time, on-site job includes driving tow trucks, responding to emergency calls, and managing vehicle transports. Candidates should possess a valid commercial driver’s license and a TSSEA Tow license, as well as a minimum of 7 months pertinent experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate tow trucks to transport disabled vehicles
• Secure vehicles properly to prevent damage
• Respond to dispatch and customer calls for assistance
• Conduct vehicle inspections for safety
• Maintain logs of services performed
Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 months experience in related driving roles
• Valid commercial driver’s license and a clean record
• TSSEA Tow license required
• High school completion certificate
• Adept mechanical skills for minor vehicle issues
