Canada Post is seeking a Letter Carrier on a temporary, on-call basis in Smiths Falls. This role is perfect for individuals who love being active outdoors and are proud to serve fellow Canadians. Your duties will include sorting mail, driving delivery vehicles, and making deliveries on foot or by vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and prepare daily mail deliveries at the depot
• Load and drive a Canada Post delivery vehicle
• Deliver mail and packages to customers on your route
• Return to the depot to unload incoming mail items
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with 3 years experience
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 22.7kg regularly
• Capability to work in various weather conditions
• Available for on-call shifts
• Proficiency in English or French
