Description:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced AZ Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport compost across various locations.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing a range of skills. The AZ Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and compliance with transportation regulations.

• Safely operate AZ licensed multi axle walking floor trailer from farm location in Dundas to Whitby and return back to farm location
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues

• 12 hours per week ($25 - $29 per hour)
• Tuesday start 4AM
• Friday start 5:15AM

• Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Clean Abstract Drivers and CVOR
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety checks
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
• Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and adapt to changing schedules or routes
