Provide safe, courteous transportation for residents as a Bus Driver across two Aspira retirement communities in Gloucester and Rockland, Ontario. Drive weekdays from 9:30am to 2:30pm, with weekends as needed.
This full-time Bus Driver position supports residents’ health, independence, and well-being through reliable transportation. You will transport residents to scheduled activities and assist them around the bus and position is shared between Aspira Rockland Manor Retirement Living and Aspira Berabrook Retirement Living, with a focus on comfortable, secure journeys.
Key Responsibilities:- Transport residents to scheduled activities safely and reliably
- Assist residents boarding, exiting, and crossing streets
- Observe speed limits and road signs
- Check fuel, fluids, tires, oil, and bus cleanliness
- Maintain interior cleanliness and complete assigned related tasks
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Appropriate provincial driving permit for a bus
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- One to two years of driver experience
- Effective English communication and customer service experience
