Inventory Management Associate at Ciena

As an Inventory Management Associate, you will oversee the receiving, storing, and distribution of merchandise. Your responsibilities include maintaining stockroom organization and ensuring the right inventory levels. You’ll collaborate with team members to track inventory using Ciena’s Assets Tracking System and prepare shipments for other sites or manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize stockroom for efficient inventory management
• Monitor consumables and request additional materials as needed
• Prepare and bin items for station builds based on schedules
• Facilitate shipment collection and preparation for relocation
• Conduct physical inventory checks and resolve discrepancies
Requirements:
• Proven stockroom/warehouse management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift materials up to 40 lbs
