Warehouse Team Lead

Overview

Reporting to the Branch Operations Manager, the Warehouse Team Lead will supervise warehouse collaborators and lead by example toward the achievement of goals through coaching, training and effective goal setting. The Warehouse Team Lead is accountable for ensuring our customers are serviced in a professional and ethical manner and serves as brand ambassadors. They will also be responsible for day‑to‑day operations including creating a safety culture, deliveries, inventory control and facility/fleet maintenance.

• Carrying out and reinforcing company policies and procedures provided by Head Office.
• Ensuring excellent customer service and a safe, healthy work environment.
• Providing continuous constructive feedback to help warehouse personnel succeed.
• Collaborating with several appropriate departments on a daily basis.
• Following up on stock, inventory and deliveries, maintaining quality control, and ensuring proper staffing levels.
• Identifying areas of improvement and seeking means to develop necessary skill sets.
• Ensuring smooth operations and efficient functioning of the warehouse.
• Executing other related duties as assigned.

• 5+ years of warehouse experience with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Computer proficient;
  Oracle knowledge is a bonus.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to lift, push or pull materials up to 50 lb.
• Experience in the building materials industry with engineered wood siding is a bonus.

Saint‑Gobain offers a national pay range for this position of $50,000 to $56,000 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Applicants should expect a salary somewhere in the middle of this range.
