Evening Forklift Operator in Ontario

Giant Tiger Wholesale is hiring an Evening Forklift Operator at our Johnstown distribution center. This role emphasizes the safe handling of inventory with reach trucks for efficient operations.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be crucial in managing narrow-aisle and high-bay reach trucks while servicing order pickers. Working from Wednesday to Saturday, you'll contribute to a fast-paced environment while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive reach trucks through busy warehouse areas

• Replenish items based on supervisor directions

• Identify and scan SKU numbers accurately

• Move damaged items to designated locations

• Record daily productivity metrics

Requirements:

• Physical capability to lift heavy items

• Basic math and computer skills

• Preferred experience operating forklifts

• Strong focus on safety practices and standards

• Willingness to pursue machine training certification
