Become a vital part of CDW's team as a Full-Time Inventory Specialist, ensuring operational excellence in receiving operations. This role demands both leadership and a keen eye for detail in order fulfillment.
The Inventory Specialist will oversee purchase order receiving processes, ensuring all shipments align with company standards. Responsibilities include managing a receiving team, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining compliance and accuracy in inventory management. Training and motivating staff for peak productivity are also key aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee purchase order receiving and processing activities
• Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and orders
• Assign and monitor daily workloads for the team
• Provide training on receiving procedures and accuracy standards
• Maintain inventory records and assist in cycle counts
Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience in ERP or warehouse management systems
• Proficient with Office 365, especially Excel
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and adapt to seasonal warehouse conditions
