Warehouse Clerk

Position: Warehouse Clerk at Vast-Auto Distribution
Vast-Auto Distribution is hiring a Warehouse Clerk in Eastern Canada. This role involves merchandise handling, safety compliance, and requires the physical ability to lift heavy loads.

Under the supervision of the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for placing incoming and returned merchandise appropriately within the warehouse. Key requirements include maintaining safety protocols, lifting up to 50 lbs frequently, and carrying loads as heavy as 2,200 lbs using pallet trucks. Your efficiency and teamwork will be critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Place incoming and returned merchandise in designated warehouse areas

• Apply company-prescribed safety measures consistently

• Lift and carry loads up to 50 lbs frequently

• Bend and twist as necessary during daily tasks

• Perform all other related duties as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent training (an asset)

• Knowledge of French, both oral and written

• Basic mathematics skills are necessary

• Warehouse experience is a plus

• Forklift experience/license is an asset
