Weapons Supply Clerk for OPP

Join the Ontario Provincial Police as a Weapons Supply Clerk. This full-time role focuses on inventory control, shipping, receiving, and overseeing stock levels.

The position within the Fleet, Supply, and Weapons Services Bureau requires expertise in managing inventories and processing orders efficiently. You will be integral to monitoring stock levels and ensuring safe handling of firearms and related equipment. Safe and accurate management of OPP assets is a key focus of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control inventory and monitor stock levels

• Process orders and documents promptly

• Oversee shipping and receiving operations

• Manage destruction of seized items safely

• Utilize inventory management software for tracking

Requirements:

• Ability to pass OPP background/security investigation

• Completion of Firearms Safety training required

• Must pass the RCMP Firearms Verifiers course

• Ability to lift heavy weights (up to 150 pounds)

• Familiarity with warehousing procedures and practices
