Seneca High School is seeking a School Counselor for its Student Services Department. Candidates may hold a valid, registered Illinois professional educator license with a specific endorsement in School Counselor or Guidance. Additional Master’s Degree in Counseling or Additional Optioin for Short-Term Approval Certifications may also apply:
There are extra-duties (athletic or club sponsorship) required of this opening. Final co-curricular sponsor ships will be discussed with the final candidate.
Guidance Counselors are a part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, while also required for 10 additional contract days per year.
Starting teacher salary according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Seneca Education Association for 2027-28 school year, BA-1 is: $55,710.26.
Benefits include Board of Education 100% paid Health, Dental, Vision Premiums, an employee HSA account, & TRS 9.0% Board of Education paid.
