Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Compensation: $20.50 - $23.50

About this position

Advantech has an immediate opening within our Sales Operations department, as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This individual will work together with our AR/Credit team and will be responsible for administering account receivable collections as well as credit assessment and report analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, is able to work under pressure and is detail-oriented, quick learning, demonstrate good analysis skill, and be a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Run A/R Aging reports on assigned accounts and review and resolve the past due issues.
• Perform high-volume customer collection calls and/or email correspondence to collect overdue customer balances.
• Notate all AR activity in appropriate systems while maintaining customer accounts based on payment or contact information.
• Handle customer account reconciliations including portal verification and updates.
• Resolve customer invoice collection issues. Coordinate cross-functionally to resolve issues and identify root causes for non-payment.
• Follow department SOP for processing Wires, ACH, Cash, credit/debit memo, etc.
• Update and maintain the customer Credit Application Process from the ERP system.
• Support and find solutions of dispute due to the return, RMA, etc.
• Prepare and present weekly reports on collections activities and progress.
• Evaluate the financial reports of customers and conduct assessments of credit lines
• Other assigned tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2 years' business-to-business AR Collections & Credit experiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred Proficiency in SAP or others ERP and BI report.
• BA Degree
