Job OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on, customer-focused Field Operator to support our robotic unloading and palletizing systems in real-world warehouse environments. This role involves operating robotic systems, providing on-site technical support, and maintaining strong communication with customers. You will be the face of our company on the ground, ensuring reliable operation and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor robotic unloading and palletizing systems on-site
- Perform basic maintenance and support daily system readiness
- Troubleshoot and resolve electro-mechanical issues in real time
- Interface directly with customers, ensuring satisfaction and clear communication
- Document activities and system performance through detailed field reports
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electro-mechanical systems
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Open to travel
- Able to work and commute daily on-site in Ottawa, IL at customer warehouse
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems (professional or personal projects such as PC builds, automotive work, etc.)
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or field service role
- Associate’s Degree or higher in a technical field
- Experience in automation, robotics, or warehouse operations
- Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus
- Experience deploying robots is a plus
