Maintenance & Reliability Manager, Personal Care Manufacturing Base pay range

Lead the heartbeat of our operations. Picture your day starting on the production floor, scanning dashboards and maintenance logs, prioritizing the most critical work orders, and aligning technicians on safe, efficient execution. By mid‑morning, you’re walking the line—auditing preventive maintenance tasks, checking liquid filling equipment performance, and solving a tricky PLC/servo issue to keep throughput on target. After lunch, you’re reviewing vendor quotes, approving spare parts orders, and updating the rolling maintenance budget.
You close the day by coaching team leads, logging progress, and shaping tomorrow’s repair schedule and reliability improvements.
- Oversee all installation, repair, and maintenance operations across facilities and production equipment.
- Ensure machinery meets performance and safety standards through robust preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Create, implement, and continuously improve maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Plan and assign repair schedules; review and validate cost estimates and timelines.
- Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to detect, diagnose, and resolve issues early.
- Manage the company’s Preventive Maintenance (PM) program and drive reliability‑centered improvements.
- Track expenses; oversee departmental budgeting, cost control, and annual budget requests.
- Maintain accurate documentation: daily progress reports, maintenance logs, and inventory records.
- Oversee equipment inventory; source parts and place orders as needed.
- Build and manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Champion a culture of safety—train teams on safe work practices and equipment operation; enforce policies.
- Establish, train, and monitor maintenance guidelines for on‑the‑job safety and preventive maintenance.
- Develop and execute strategies that increase equipment reliability and overall effectiveness.
- High school diploma/GED required;
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred. - 5+ years as a maintenance manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise with PLC and servo systems; strong grounding in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with liquid filling equipment; background in the personal care industry is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication; meticulous organization and multitasking.
- Proven success implementing maintenance best practices and standardized processes.
- Budget development and tracking; cost control and negotiation.
- Team leadership, supervision, staffing, and performance management.
- Process improvement, risk management, and reliability thinking.
- Analytical problem solving, critical thinking, and technical aptitude.
