Description:
seeking a nurse practitioner to work with adult inpatients and adult and adolescent outpatients in our CHOICES Behavioral Health Services. Job specifics:
Practice in collaboration with four psychiatrists.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in Behavioral medicine. Must be able to function independently with evaluations and initial consultations.
Inpatient/Outpatient 50% each. 4 inpatients per day, 4 outpatients per day. Facility will consider new grad candidates but prefers candidates with experience. Will consider new grads with solid RN experience. Must have psychiatric nursing experience to be considered for this position. Ottawa, Illinois, located at the intersection of the Fox and Illinois Rivers in north central Illinois, is a friendly community 70 miles southwest of Metro Chicago.
Ottawa is also conveniently nestled at the crossroads of two major interstate systems, I-80 and I-39. Salary range is based on experience and skills. This is a full time salaried position - typically 40 hours per week with some weekends. The facility will help with relocation costs - full details to be included during interview/offer process.
