Component Inspector –Manufacturing Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Component Inspector to inspect packaging components and materials used in the manufacturing of toiletry and personal care products. This position is responsible for identifying defects, verifying product quality, and ensuring components meet established company specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect components and packaging materials for defects, damage, or inconsistencies.
  • Perform visual inspections of bottles, caps, labels, containers, and other production components.
  • Verify components meet required quality and production specifications.
  • Identify and separate defective or non-conforming materials.
  • Perform measurements and quality checks as required.
  • Accurately document inspection results and report quality concerns to supervisors or Quality Control personnel.
  • Monitor production materials to ensure consistency and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Follow established GMP, safety, quality, and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection and production area.
  • Work closely with Production and Quality teams to identify and resolve component issues.
  • Follow all company procedures regarding product handling and contamination prevention.
  • Complete required paperwork, inspection records, and quality documentation.
  • Meet production and quality expectations while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, production, inspection, or quality control experience preferred.
  • Experience in personal care, toiletry, food, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small defects.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive inspection tasks.
  • Ability to follow all safety and PPE requirements.
