- Base Salary: $130k - $150k per year
- Eligible for Bonus
- Auto Allowance or Company Vehicle
- Eligible for annual salary review/increase
This position is focused on meeting North American domestic sales objectives for ZEV Terminal Tractor equipment sales in the assigned region. This position will report to the Sales Manager II, Terminal Tractors. Working through Kalmar Dealer network and assigned direct accounts, the Manager will promote and capture sales within the region and will serve as the liaison between the dealer and the Kalmar Sales/Service/Parts network.
Ideal candidate will also be able to effectively communicate with the engineering team about specific customer needs.
- Sales
:
Achieve sales volume objectives; fleet sales to direct accounts, as assigned; communicate all sales programs; manage sales discounts - Dealer Network
:
Product training for dealer sales organization; establish and communicate sales goals for dealers; provide input for dealer performance evaluations and dealership action plans; - Infrastructure & Funding
:
Development of funding programs to assist dealers and direct customers to capture subsidy opportunities;
Develop and offer infrastructure solutions for dealers and direct customers which includes proper charging solutions - Analysis & Reporting
:
Maintain analysis of customer needs; maintain market information on competitive product content and pricing; provide input for forecasts on sales and industry volume - Compliance

Strong working knowledge of CARB criteria/programs and the states that are endorsing CARB compliance or that soon will be

What you bring to the role:- Qualifications
:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or related field preferred; will consider combination of Sales/Marketing experience and education in lieu of Bachelor's or Master's degree - Technical Expertise
:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy industrial equipment sales and support with a heavy emphasis in electrified vehicles; should possess a technical aptitude for heavy equipment; broad understanding and experience in dealer retail business - Communication & Negotiation
