• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.

High School Graduate or equivalent (Required). Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS). Resuscitation Quality Improvement Certification. Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT‑CERT). Licensed Radiology Technologist (LRT) – accredited by Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT). Licensed Radiology Technologist – accredited by Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (LRT). Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) – accredited by IEMA. Registered Technologist – Magnetic Resonance Imaging (RT‑MR).

Additional certifications as required.
