Weekend shift. (Friday through Sunday) after training. Set up and operate single and/or multi-die headers for manufacturing precision aircraft quality fasteners.

This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Ottawa KS location for training Monday through Friday until training is complete. Then will transfer over to the weekend (Friday through Sunday).

• Reads and interprets documents (blueprints, drawings, or manufacturing work orders) to determine tools and materials necessary for producing parts to precision tolerances for aircraft specifications.
• Sets up and operates on a production basis all assigned headers and related products, including settings and adjustments to meet specifications.
• Loads machines with raw material and monitors production using measuring devices (comparators, micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Reworks and directs reworking of tooling as needed.
• Keeps accurate statistical process control records and makes adjustments as directed by SPC data.
• Meets and maintains productivity and quality requirements to support departmental goals and schedules.
• Performs minor preventative maintenance on assigned machines.
• Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations.

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $19.00 to $20.00 an hour. Compensation can vary depending on factors including qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location.
