Position: Member Service Agent (Member Relations Center)

Are you ready to dive into the world of member service with a dynamic and member-centric team? As a Member Service Agent, you'll be forefront of providing exceptional member service while assisting members on the phone. This position is located at the Ottumwa Richmond Branch, back office. This position also works roughly 2 Saturdays a month from 8am-1pm.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.

As a Member Service Agent, you will be responsible for assisting members with their financial needs, providing accurate information on products and services, resolving inquiries and concerns, and promoting a positive member experience. You will have the opportunity to develop your communication skills, build relationships with our members, and contribute to the overall success of our Member Relations Center team in Ottumwa.

Our training program will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to excel in this role, ensuring that you feel confident and supported as you navigate your day-to-day responsibilities.

Skills/experience to be a success

To excel as a Member Service Agent at Community 1st Credit Union, you will need excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications is essential for this role, as you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining member information. A member-centric mindset, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service are key attributes that will enable you to thrive in our Member Relations Center in Ottumwa.

Prior experience in a customer service or financial services role is beneficial, but we welcome individuals with a drive to learn and grow in this exciting position.
