Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a part-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join a well-established team at a 120-bed hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for EM-trained or experienced physicians seeking flexibility, stability, and the support of a respected healthcare system.
Clinical Details:
- Emergency Department: 17 beds
- Annual ED Volume: 20,000 visits
- Admission Rate: 9%
- Facility Type:
Level IV Trauma Center - EMR:
Meditech - Daily Support:
- 12 hours of APC coverage
- Scribe support in the ED
- Established hospitalist program
- EMS base station
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Or board certified in Primary Care (ABFM or AOBFM) with extensive ED experience
